Lloyd SixtyFive is an exclusive, 76-unit condominium located a stone’s throw away from Orchard Road. Sophisticated and stylish, it is perfectly balanced by functionality.
Each unit has high ceilings and expansive balconies, complemented by facilities and amenities that encourage owners to spend time outside of the apartments too.
To enhance it, the developers, TG Development, decided to enlist the help of Marquis Homestyling, a boutique design firm that specialises in creating luxury residential and commercial spaces.
“Living in an ever-changing design world, the main challenge is to keep our designs relevant, functional and distinctive. We spend a lot time keeping ourselves up-to-date with new design trends and materials, so as to remain competitive,” says Marilyn Tan, Principal Designer of Marquis Homestyling.
Because the project is targeted at families, individuals and couples, the team curated a variety of styles to suit different needs.
For instance, in the two-bedroom loft apartment showflat the team maximised the space and transformed it from a 2+1 bedroom unit into a three-bedroom unit. Other possibilities for the loft space include a walk-in wardrobe or study.
In the living room, the team clad the walls with marble, elevating its elegance and increasing the sense of luxe.
The four-bedroom apartment with its own private pool is idea for large, or multi-generational families living together. Marquis Homestyling designed two living rooms, framed by walls clad with a warm wood laminate.
In the condominium’s common spaces, the lounge is the first area to welcome residents and visitors. Here, elegant and comfortable furniture pieces in hues of grey and cream dot it, matching the fair-faced concrete walls.
The function rooms located by the pool were also designed by the team. A television hangs on a book-matched stone feature wall, framed by a mirror-finish border.
A row of pendant lights hangs over a long table ideal for dining at or a board meeting, their faint orange glow creating a cosy atmosphere. Behind it is a generously-sized sofa set in luxuriously soft leather to sink into.
All this is further illuminated by floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to flood in. Beyond that is the view of the swimming pool and the lush greenery planted by it.
The classic, timeless design that Marquis Homestyling has created for Lloyd SixtyFive is something that will surely be appreciated by its residents, assuring them that this is a home they will always be happy to come back to.
