Sanitaryware | Hansgrohe
If you’ve been to the Hansgrohe Aquademie along Mohamed Sultan Road in Singapore, you might have noticed something different. The showroom has recently been rebranded to The Water Studio with a focus on demonstration and interaction. This means visitors can get acquainted with the different collections and personally experience the individual products under the Hansgrohe and AXOR labels. Well-trained Water Experts are on hand to support with suggestions whether the shopping is for the kitchen, bathroom or just inspiration.
Furniture | Vitra
What will the future of sustainable construction look like? This is what the +Pavilion installation is exploring, held in conjunction with the Swiss Weeks 2022 at the Marina Barrage, led by the Embassy of Switzerland in Singapore. Designed by Studio SKLIM, the concept also sees the participation of Vitra, through furnishing the interiors with items such as the Eames Elephant by Charles & Ray Eames and Stool-Tool by Konstantin Grcic. Also noteworthy is the Tip Ton RE, originally by Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby. This version, designed in 2020, is manufactured from recycled household waste, particularly used packaging. Each piece is 100 percent recyclable.
Surfaces | Cosentino
Taking its cue from the neighbouring green heart of Marina One, Cosentino City Singapore has just opened its doors with a garden-inspired concept in the Central Business District. The Spanish surfaces company moved into this new premises from Duxton Road, following the decision to make the Lion City the headquarters of the Asia Pacific region. Spanning 4,000ft2, it displays products from the three brands Silestone, Dekton and Sensa, and has a digital experience hub and fully equipped kitchen for cooking demonstrations and networking events.
