Goodpost Studio's inspiring, nurturing workspace

Taipei's Goodpost Studio incorporates switches from JUNG to complement the style and function of various zones in the work place.

Situated in New Taipei City, Taiwan, the Goodpost Studio is a professional video editing studio specialising in post-production and visual effects for television programmes. Recognising the fast-paced nature of its work, the studio’s founder envisioned a studio space that is both comfortable and inspiring – a nurturing environment for its employees to thrive.

In collaboration with the interior design firm Guudpin Design, the 110sqm studio was conceptualised as a harmonious fusion of the founder’s vision with the functionality and flexibility required in a workspace. This was achieved through thoughtful space planning and the intentional selection of colours and materials.

Balancing the need for collaboration and independent work, the workspace features individual desks lining both sides of the studio, flanking a large central workstation. This layout allows employees to easily transition between personal creative spaces and a communal area designed for open discussion. The result is a dynamic environment that supports both focus and teamwork.

Beyond the main workspace, additional functional areas such as the lounge and the small discussion table are also designed to flow seamlessly into one another.

Curved walls subtly guide the eye toward mirrored walls/ surfaces, creating an illusion of a larger space while maintaining an open and uncluttered feel. These design elements encourage fluid movement and thought.

The studio’s colour scheme is a lighthearted, Scandinavian-inspired neutral palette, punctuated with uplifting yellow accents. Earthy elements, such as the central wooden conference table and potted plants, add warmth and help reduce visual strain, fostering a calm and inviting atmosphere.

To complement the style and function of various zones, carefully selected JUNG switch designs in varying colours were integrated. In the discussion area, which features darker earth tones, the LS 990 in Antique Brass was chosen to match the hue of the area while providing a point of visual interest.

Meanwhile, under the TV in the lounge, the LS 990 in champagne offers contrast to the white wall and harmony with the wooden shelf.

At the lounge entrance, the toggle rocker switch from the LS 1912 series in Aluminium delivers an aesthetic and tactile experience. The central table features the flush-mounted LS ZERO design range in mocha, seamlessly integrating sockets into the workspace.
