Despite the challenges it has faced in the last year, the real estate industry has emerged stronger than ever.
This was the message that came through at the 11th annual edition of the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Singapore), presented by Kohler and supported by Mitsubishi Electric Asia.
The winners were revealed across 44 categories on 19 November in a virtual gala celebration.
Of note were the Best WFH Development, a new title awarded to Midtown Bay by GuocoLand, which also won the Best Developer accolade for the second consecutive year.
Other winners include CSC Land Group for Best Breakthrough Developer and Klimt Cairnhill by Low Keng Huat (S) Limited for Best Ultra Luxury Condo Architectural Design.
The Singapore Real Estate Personality of the Year went to Kain Sim, Co-Founder and Chairman of the ZACD Group.
She shares, “As an entrepreneur, I would say that the business is a means to an end and not an end in itself. We drive the business to achieve goals and deliver results to our partners and stakeholders.”
Hari V Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer of PropertyGuru Group, adds that the awards programme helps to set the gold standard for Singapore’s real estate.
He says, “Now as we transcend the health crisis, our awards in Singapore elevate the companies and projects that have adapted to the paradigm shifts in the way we work, play and invest.”
