AXOR Sets New Benchmarks in Personalised Bathroom Design at Salone del Mobile 2026

At Milan Furniture Fair 2026, AXOR introduces a new collection by Barber Osgerby, an integrated shower object by Antonio Citterio, and expanded customisation—advancing a more personalised approach to bathroom design.

At the recent Milan Furniture Fair 2026 in April, AXOR, the luxury design brand of the Hansgrohe Group, showcased three major highlights at its nearly 200-sqm booth: a new bathroom collection, an innovative architectural object for the shower, and extensive customisation options through AXOR Signature. Together, they elevate personalisation in the bathroom to an entirely new level.

“In this 125th anniversary year of the Hansgrohe SE, AXOR is introducing new products in the faucet and shower segments, enabling architects, bathroom planners, and their clients to realise their personal visions of bathrooms that are extraordinary,” says Anke Sohn, Head of Global Brand Marketing, AXOR.

New Bathroom Collection by Barber Osgerby

From April 21 to 26, 2026, architects, interior designers, and design enthusiasts had the opportunity to discover AXOR Archivio, a new bathroom collection by renowned design studio Barber Osgerby.

Distilling decades of design influence into a contemporary yet enduring language, AXOR Archivio celebrates archival forms and classical details reimagined for today’s interiors. The result is a collection that bridges past and present — expressive and beautifully balanced, yet crafted to feel at home in any architectural setting. Drawing from historic typologies and transitional design principles, AXOR Archivio unites soft silhouettes, flowing contours, and refined accents.

Across wash basin, bath, and shower applications, AXOR Archivio reveals a coherent design language. Cross handles with white inlays reinterpret traditional hot and cold markers with a subtle modernity. Smoothly curved spouts, bell-shaped bases, and thoughtful detailing speak to the craftsmanship behind the collection. Lever handles, with their natural rise and tactile invite, provide an equally refined alternative. Offered in AXOR FinishPlus surfaces, AXOR Archivio empowers designers to create bold contrasts or soft tonal palettes across a wide variety of configurations, including single-hole, three-hole, wall-mounted, and freestanding designs.

New Architectural Shower Object by Antonio Citterio

In collaboration with Milan-based architect and product designer Antonio Citterio, AXOR also unveiled AXOR Incava, an innovative architectural object for the shower — paving the way for a new era of bathroom design and transforming the shower space into a place of calm and ritual.

The architectural element combines three functions — thermostat control, hand shower, and integrated wall niche — in a single, elegant component. Discreetly recessed into the wall, it places the showering experience entirely at the forefront. Developed for seamless integration, visual clarity, and intuitive usability, the object is highly customisable and universally compatible with all AXOR collections and programs.

"By eliminating protruding parts—no handles, knobs, or visible elements, AXOR Incava transforms the bathroom from a technical space into a clear, integrated environment where the ritual of bathing becomes a tranquil experience," says designer Citterio.

AXOR creates iconic faucets, showers and accessories for luxurious bathrooms and kitchens. Developed in collaboration with world-renowned designers – Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, Barber Osgerby and Patricia Urquiola among them – AXOR products come in an unrivalled variety of styles. Uncompromising when it comes to lasting quality, refined aesthetics and advanced technological performance, AXOR manufactures more than 90 percent of its products in Germany’s Black Forest. This ensures excellence in every detail while delivering luxurious water experiences.
