The buildings have a restrained geometric façade with rows of overlapping screens creating a pleasing juxtaposition of light and shadow, while allowing fresh air to enter the corridors that connect the rooms. Clusters of private villas with plunge pools and oversized wet bars are set closer to the beach, connected by pathways lined with exotic foliage and custom art installations. Opening to a stunning ocean vista, the pool, bar and restaurants are the hub and heart of the resort, especially at sunset during cocktail hour. MID-CENTURY NOSTALGIA MEETS ECLECTIC VOYEURISM The design of the resort is anchored by a graceful mid-century aesthetic with organic curves that are luxurious and welcoming. The palette is neutral from the natural materials that predominate but incorporates saturated bursts of colour that add a strong presence. Charismatic, functional furnishings are complemented by surprising accents, such as rose gold disco balls and bold striped tiles. Exposed aggregate and concrete are used alongside whitewashed wood, rattan and bamboo. Voyeurism is one of the key pillars 05 05-06.
