The relationship between the roughly carved dry-stone walls that form the base of the structure and the smooth white prisms of the upper floor highlights the balance between tradition and contemporaneity. TRANSPARENCY AND OPENNESS While the structural challenge of this project was enormous, the configuration of the ground floor required the development of many volumetric models with different spatial scenarios that evolved until the architects arrived at the final solution. “To incorporate the garden into the interior of the house, a continuous space is defined from the access to the plot, to the pool, without any obstacle or intermediate structural element,” explains Gallardo Llopis.
